      Forum Description

      We are raised to fear and avoid negative emotions - they will make you look weak, make you lose control. But, all emotions have value - and those we term "negative" are a rich source of growth and change. At least, they are when we master them instead of them mastering us.

      Anxiety = Your perception of how dangerous something is / Your perception of your coping skills.

      (it is all imaginary - but that doesn't mean it isn't strong. Your imagination powers stuck as well as powering motivation and change.)

It also helps you benefit and grow from the emotion itself, enriching your life and giving you a sense that you can handle anything. (Because you can!)

      Mindfulness of Thoughts - name the emotion and allow the thoughts about the emotion to float away. Learn the skill with this meditation. Practice during a time of calm so that it is available to you during times of stress. Download

      Reminder - If you have gone through extended stress and anxiety, rebuild your happiness and play on purpose. Make a list of 100 things you enjoy. Do at least one a day. Notice how enjoyable it is - or remember
